Guys,
I am putting here a very simple and smooth mp3 player for your blog in the form of a widget which makes mp3 links palyable directly on your blog while optionally hiding the download link. Code for this widget are based on various hacks of excellent scripts- Del.icio.us mp3 Playtagger javascript which has been modified for blogger. Flash player used here has been taken from 1pixelout.
Installation:
Installation of this widget is very easy. Just click the button below, you will be redirected to blogger's page. Give the necessary informations there if required.
How to use this player: After adding this widget, just put the mp3 links of mp3 file in your blogger posts where you want the player to appear and you are done. You can put this link using following HTML code if you are writing your post in "Edit HTML" mode instead of "Compose" mode.
Example:
See this tutorial for free file hosting services where you can upload your mp3 files and hyperlink them. These mp3 links will automatically get changed in an image (on your blog) as shown here:
After clicking on that image, it will change to an image as shown below:
Simultaniously, you will see a payer just below that image, playing the mp3 file which you have hyperlinked. Sceenshot

Guys, I have been using (Boxstr.com)for hotlinking and storage of my mp3 files.
The mp3 can still be downloaded from your site, all they have to do is look at the page source, to get the url, from your google site. ;)
Yes, this player is not meant for security against downloading, it just makes the mp3 links playable at your blog itself.

Boxstr has been giving me problems in that the MP3 will only work when I'm logged in. I log out and the MP3 fails to load. How do you do it?

I never got that problem at my end. Are you using Boxstr.net or Boxstr.com. Thse two are different FTP provider. Boxstr.com has changed its name and has become Opendrive.com. I recommend you to use opendrive which I think, is more reliable.

i cannot get it.....
after i click that link n its ask me to put on my blogs....then it only says ( get this player )<----where the mp3....how can i play the mp3 if i click at it it just open your blogs (waqar-blog.blogspot.com ) .....

I think you have done only installation part. Please go through "How to use this player". Surely It will work. If you find any problem, drop your comment here.
i have doing the installation and try post the mp3 link. It still cannot works. How to make it?

Sorry Naivecity, This widget is not working right now as the GooglePages service has been stopped by Google. I was hosting the widget files on GooglePages. Soon, I will fix this widget so that you people can enjoy the audio on your blog.

Yep. Just tried using this, because it seems way, way better than the Yahoo! Media Player -- or, am I missing the point of this widget? -- and it's not workin', man. WHAT'S GOING ON?
